D for Design

Somewhere between work, readings, homework, and attempts to get enough sleep, I made some designs for custom t-shirts for the birthdays of my friends (this sounds so awkwardly worded). The only problem right now is that a fully custom t-shirt costs $35 (plus tax, eep). So hopefully I can bring in my own t-shirts and save myself a whooping $20 per shirt. A really late happy birthday to you March babies (D, K, and L) , each of you are amazingly awesome. :)

(designs in order from top to bottom - the lighting just makes the paper look old):
1) "Tea time"
2) "I Believe in Sherlock"
3) "10th"

*all done on standard 8.5 x 11 printer paper with permanent markers, the ideas related to Sherlock and Doctor Who do not belong to me whatsoever and I claim no credit for them (only for the design)*

^ I'm clearly paranoid of copyright issues.

Kisses From Spring

So apparently today was the first day of spring. I honestly beg to differ, since today was : cold, cloudy and dead (no flowers, I'm sad). But the sun came out for a bit and it didn't rain, so it's kind of bearable. Especially since I got to wear my yellow and green peeptoe flats, chyeah! :) (pictures to come)

I trudged through my math midterm (engineering math sucks, never take it unless you like to torture yourself), now I have to wait until the TAs finish marking it (yikes). Hopefully my GPA won't drop too much let me cry in the corner.

On another note, I've been going through an electronic/ indie phase in my music life, and I just HAVE to share my current electronic favourites:

-Lack of A Better Name by deadmau5 : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_x2Hx48L_A
-Lick The Rainbow by Mord Fustang : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5wkC8vWbFm8

(I still can't seem to properly link things properly on blogger, please accept my incompetence while I search for html help pages haha!)

Calm Before the Storm / Eye Eat 8

Just a bit of fun before the final midterm rolls in.

TGITW (Thank Goodness It's The Weekend)...not

*current WIP*

Wow, I've realized how much I've been neglecting my sketchbook these days. I miss the high school days where marks were given for drawings haha. Well, hopefully I can do some visual arts courses next semester. Enough nostalgia, back to reality. The work's been accumulating, whoop dee doo! Thankfully... I have to the weekend to recover. Joking, the weekend is where I plant myself at my desk and catch up. Like that lab report that's due soon. Hope everyone's doing well! :)

Who's that girl?

My photo
Hola, I'm an aspiring illustrator scientist (do those exist?) who occasionally dresses well. Lets be friends. :)
